In what is another testament to Shia LaBeouf losing his marbles, he has promised to team up with Nastja Säde Rönkkö and painter Luke Turner for an exhibit entitled, #IAMSORRY. This hashtag references a previous publicity stunt(?) at the 64th International Berlin Film festival in which he appeared wearing a paper bag over his head with the scribbled phrase “I am not famous anymore” emblazoned.
Now deciding that he pushed the boat out a little too far, he has decided to apologize to his fans by hosting an event at L.A’s Cohen Gallery from Tuesday 11th to Sunday 16th February.
I do realize that Shia is to an extent, atoning for his wrongdoings of douchebaggery, but at what point does it become over the top? Wouldn’t a simple, “Sorry guys!” suffice instead of going down the artsy route? Apparently this is not a joke, but we’ll just have to take this announcement with a grain of salt at the moment.
What do you guys think of this? Let me know in the comments section below.
