A youth player for the Scottish Premiership side, Inverness Caledonian Thistle has been suspended pending an investigation over a sectarian “tweet” on the social media site, Twitter.

Joe Gorman, a Republic of Ireland youth player, was seen to have made a comment regarding a Ross Kemp episode filmed in Belfast. Having previously not made an appearance for he SPL side, the 19 year old has been suspended by the club in aid of their investigation into the matter.
Club chairman Kenny Cameron said: “As soon as we were made aware of the allegations, and following a discussion with the player we confirm that he has been suspended by the club pending an internal disciplinary investigation.
“No further comment will be made until those investigations have been concluded.”
The investigation is ongoing and the player has since deleted his account.
